Directly Observe
See for Test it Notice
yourself.

Everything on this site is an invitation to look directly, in your own experience, right now at what’s actually here.

Not a philosophy to adopt nor a tradition to join. Rather, this site is twelve short lessons, each with proof. Each node builds on the last. Each proof asks only that you check it against what you can actually notice. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. No belief required.

I invite you to stop whenever something does not make sense or does not seem true to you. Re-read the node, come back tomorrow, or ask a question to a member in our small online community.

Start at node 01, follow the path, and see what you find.

The full spine
Phase 1 — The problem is real
01 Your attention is not your own “Where does my mind go?” 02 You are almost never here “How much am I present for?” 03 The cost is invisible “What am I actually losing?”
Phase 2 — The mind can be seen
04 You can look at what is looking “What is aware right now?” 05 Thoughts are objects, not the observer “Am I thinking, or watching thoughts?” 06 Attention can be trained “Can I actually get better at this?”
Phase 3 — The self is a story
07 The narrator is not the author “Who is telling my story?” 08 The self is constructed, not found “If I look for ‘me,’ what do I find?” 09 This is not a belief — it can be verified “Do I have to take anyone’s word for this?”
Phase 4 — What becomes possible
10 Suffering has a specific mechanism “Why do I keep getting pulled in?” 11 Equanimity is not detachment “Does presence mean not caring?” 12 The ordinary moment is the destination “If not somewhere else, then what?”
